HAVE you ever plucked up the courage to drag yourself inside a haunted house only to come out the other side thinking, 'was that all'?

A theme park in Pennsylvania has figured out a way to well and truly frighten visitors: making them strip off before entering.

The new Naked and Scared Challenge at Shocktoberfest, Pennsylvania's 'Haunted Scream Park', aims to "test your fears and phobias on a whole new level".

You can opt to be either nude or 'prude' (keep your underwear on) as you run through the haunted house with a bunch of naked strangers. It's a pretty terrifying thought ...

The event takes place at the end of the night after all other customers have gone through the attraction. It's only available for those over the age of 18.

The organisers insist: "This is about fear and pushing oneself out of their comfort zone. This is not about sex. No sexual misconduct, inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour will be tolerated."

Shocktoberfest is an annual haunted event which includes scary rides and a house of horror. Tickets cost $20 and are limited, apparently.
