Philip Bloom's 24 hours in Las Vegas time-lapse
WATCH: Incredible time-lapse video 24 Hours of Neon shows what happens along the famous Strip when the sun goes down.
WE all know that Las Vegas is the city of sin that never stops, and this video proves just that.
24 Hours of Neon shows Vegas in all its illuminated glory, capturing what really goes on when the sun goes down along the famous Strip.
Philip Bloom said the film came from the idea that "neon never stops and Vegas is 24-hours a day."
Shot from 31 stories up in the MGM Signature hotel, Bloom used a time-lapse technique to capture the coming and goings of nearby hotel pools, McCarren Airport and the mountains surrounding Vegas.
Bloom said in order to get the film he wanted, he booked the room roughly nine months in advance and strictly requested a room with a view of the Strip.
Although the room didn’t provide quite the view he had in mind, it did have a balcony offering expansive views.
Bloom’s other time-lapse creations include the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour and Harbour Bridge, and one of the Space Needle in Seattle.
