A CHIC new oceanfront beach club has opened on Denarau Island in Fiji - a sister property to Karma Beach Bali.

A CHIC new oceanfront beach club has opened on Denarau Island in Fiji.

At the edge of Wyndham Resort, Karma Beach Fiji - a sister club to the popular Karma Beach Bali - is the first club of its kind on the resort island. The 400sq m club has bures with thatched ceilings and serves cocktails, seafood and contemporary Fijian dishes, including ceviche with coconut, taro root and sweet potato served in a coconut shell. the site's previous incarnation as a traditional turtle-hunting ground, turtles made from printed sennit rope decorate the top of the bures. The club has seating for 80 diners and 24 sun beds on its private beach. International musical acts and specialty DJs will be flown in from around the world to perform alongside traditional Fijian performers and fire dancers.
