OVER Bali? Low-cost carrier Jetstar will begin flying from Perth to Lombok in Indonesia in September
JETSTAR will begin flying from Perth to Lombok in Indonesia in September, with one-way fares from $179.
The new route will be the first nonstop service from Australia to the increasingly popular destination.
Lombok is a small island 1600km northwest of Darwin often described as reminiscent of Bali in the 1990s.
The low-cost carrier will operate four flights per week on an Airbus A320, flying on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday with a flight time of around three hours and 40 minutes.
