Why Demi Rose’ ‘frontless’ swimsuit is a trend we don’t need this summer

With summer well and truly here, an influencer’s photo of her ‘frontless’ swimsuit is making headlines. And it’s a trend we can’t unsee.

With the onset of summer comes the prospect of shopping for a new swimsuit. A task that is, for many women, as enticing as having a bikini wax by someone on their L-plates, or having your hair stapled to the carpet.

And while there are many styles, cuts and colours out there – we can report that the ‘frontless’ swimsuit is the style of choice for many a young influencer, such as this dame, Demi Rose.

This particular image was posted this month to her 15 million Instagram followers, and quickly racked up the likes. So much so that UK press started reporting on that particular swimsuit alone.

At this point somebody’s father would usually joke “I hope she got a discount on that, because it’s only half a swimsuit”.

This swimsuit wins the prize for the most impractical swimsuit of all time.

But it was this picture of Demi in a crocheted cartoon character bikini top that really gave us a bang-up case of the giggles. That might just take out the prize for most impractical swimsuit of all time. Good luck diving under a wave at Bondi in that particular number. Also, can you imagine the adorable tan lines?
