Woman's bizarre behaviour on Jetstar flight

Reminiscent of the scene from the movie Bridesmaids a passenger has hijacked the PA system on a Jetstar flight and serenaded the cabin crew.

The bizarre act has gone viral after Conor Clarke who was on-board the flight uploaded a video of the performance on TikTok.

Mr Clarke was on the flight when a delay prompted the passenger to take over the PA system and sing the Edith Piaf song La Vie en Rose to the cabin.

Mr Clarke captioned the video with: “WTF is going on?”

“Flight has been delayed 2 hours and now this hippy is f***ing singing,” he wrote.

“She didn’t even do requests,” he joked.

In the video, passengers can barely disguise their amusement at what is unfolding.

A Jetstar spokesman apologised for the delay before admonishing the passenger.

“While we enjoyed the impromptu in-flight entertainment, and this customer channelling their inner Edith Piaf, the PA system should only be used by crew, so this does need to be a one-off,” the spokesman told news.com.au.

But on TikTok, Jetstar appeared to be joining in the fun.

“Now that’s in-flight entertainment,” Jetstar wrote on the video.

The video uploaded four days ago has been viewed 1.2 million times.

One person quipped that the woman’s performance was a “war crime”.

Another observed: “She’s just ready to party”.

“We need to normalise people like her in society … protect her at all costs,” another joked.

But others were not impressed.

“How can people be this bold and obnoxious?” one person asked.

Another person simply wrote: “HELPP”.
