A TikToker has left an Italian restaurant manager in utter shock after he committed a food act in what many have described as “offensive”.

Ben Reid, who has conjured more than 150 million ‘likes’ on his clips, launched a series titled ‘P***ing off every single Italian I encounter’ — and let’s just say it’s working.

In his most recent video, Ben could be seen sitting in an Italian restaurant, grabbing his BYO bottle of ketchup (tomato sauce) and squirting it all over his beautiful-looking Margherita pizza.

A waitress could be seen staring in disbelief before clutching her head in her hands and calling over the manager to witness the horror.

He then takes one look at Ben engaging in the controversial act, before taking off his sunglasses to double check if what he was seeing was for real.

“What are you doing?!” he demands as he rushes over the Ben.

“What,” the TikToker responds.

The manager then grabs the bottle of ketchup and asks, “Is this yours?” before yelling “Nooo” and proceeding to toss it.

While watching the bottle fly past, Ben wrote in the video: “I thought my time had come”.

Both clips of the encounter have attracted more than 11 million views and over 8,000 comments with many describing the act as “offensive” — even non-Italians.

“Whyyyyyyy,” one person simply wrote.

“I’m not even Italian and that hurt,” a second wrote, while a third added: “I screamed at my phone even before he did and I’m not Italian.’

While the majority of comments were of people expressing their shock, others admitted they also have tomato sauce on their pizza.

“So you’re telling me for forty years I have been eating pizza wrong?” one person asked.

“Ketchup on pizza is actually good. It’s actually a thing in Mexico,” a second added.

Another agreed: “That’s how the whole country of Brazil eats their picture.”

Ben’s viral clips are the latest in a series of TikToks all with the aim of annoying Italians.

He also claimed the restaurant tried to kick him out.
