Model Hayley Rowson buys London double-decker bus to turn into house for travel

An OnlyFans model, pulling in thousands on the platform, says she’s converting a bus into a house to avoid paying thousands in a mortgage.

A Welsh OnlyFans model says she’s been able to use the money she’s made from the platform to buy a London bus she intends to convert into a house to travel the country, rather than fork out hundreds of thousands on a house and subsequent mortgage repayments.

According to The Mirror, OnlyFans model Hayley Rowson, from Abergele in Wales, says she’s earned almost $A21,000 since the start of 2021 by uploading pictures and videos to the platform.

Rowson, 27, used $A5860 of her earnings to purchase a double-decker bus, which she will convert into a house on wheels for a life on the road with her pets rather than investing into regular property.

“I’ve had a bad few years, recently selling my house after financial difficulties. I’ve always liked the idea of living on the road,” she said.

“Initially I was looking at a container conversion but liked the idea of a bus,” the OnlyFans model said of her new London vehicle.

Rowson said she puts her success on OnlyFans down to the interaction she has with subscribers and always answering their messages promptly.

“Effectively it’s like a business, so regardless of the industry, customer service is key,” she said.

The bus which Ms Rowson has purchased to turn into a home on wheels.

The OnlyFans model told the North Wales Daily Post she thinks more and more people will opt out of traditional living for homes like her London bus, given the boom in prices sweeping the UK.

“People need to realise that there is more to life than working early hours until late at night, there are other ways to make money and your body is the biggest asset you have, people should be proud to show it off,” Rowson said.

Hayley considered buying a shipping container to create a home, but instead bought a bus instead.

Rowson says more people will turn to alternative housing.

“I think that living for a mortgage is a thing of the past, people like to enjoy themselves, and by going part time in my job that I was once working six days a week in now allows me to have that freedom.”

Ms Rowson’s success on the platform comes amid a near year-long boom spurred on by the coronavirus pandemic, The Financial Times previously reported.

OnlyFans is now one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies.
