Normal Aussie things other people find really weird
Australians like to think we’re a relatable nation of people, with a unique culture admired the world over. It turns out everyone just thinks we’re weird.
While the idea of chucking on a pair of tracky dacks and thongs and going on a Macca’s run might seem perfectly normal to you and me, to other people around the world, it is utterly baffling.
From our culinary choices to our names for household items, non-Australians are sharing the things they’ve just discovered about Australian life and culture that they find extremely weird.
Who knew we were such a perplexing bunch?
Here are some of the things that seem to bewilder the Twitterverse the most.
