Whenever you see posts of influencers in Paris, it’s usually all gushy and romantic.

But Aussie reality star Cassidy McGill has shared her hilarious experience of travelling through the “City of Love” as a single woman.

The 27-year-old Love Island contestant, who is currently holidaying in the French capital, took to her Instagram to give followers a glimpse of the side influencers don’t tend to share.

In one clip, she explained how some French men can be so “forward” and joked she was on high alert for “stranger danger”.

She then shared another clip about a popular steak restaurant near the Eiffel Tower, claiming there was one detail about it influencers aren’t honest about.

“I googled good steak frites and Entrecote came up, it’s near the Eiffel Tower. So I went all the way there, it’s a 70-person line to wait and I’m like, ‘I’ve seen influencers come to these places and they don’t f***ing talk about waiting in line for a steak and fries,’” she said.

“Did I go there? F**k no. I went to the place next door.”

Cassidy, who is staying in a hostel, then filmed herself at Disneyland, and while she said it is “the happiest place on Earth”, she also took a swipe at all the loved-up couples everywhere.

“Spending the day at Disneyland Paris with the love of your life is so special … oh wait,” she said, before panning to a couple and then putting the camera back on herself.

“Just kidding. If anyone knows me I don’t give a f**k. I’m going to find myself a hot dog cause I’m a sl*t for a hot dog,” she joked.

Despite her hilarious digs, Cassidy has been enjoying her time in Paris, sharing various snaps of her trip. Picture: Instagram/cattcity

Cassidy concluded her adventure that day by heading to a Coldplay concert.

Despite her “real” and hilarious experience in Paris, it appears the 27-year-old is still loving every bit of her trip.

She shared a series of photos posing and indulging in a croissant, in front of the Eiffel Tower alongside the caption: “BON BLOODY JOUR.”

Cassidy found fame on the first season of Love Island Australia in 2018. She was an instant fan favourite.

However, she exited the show following an emotionally charged love triangle between her, Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp turned into an all-out war.

Tayla and Grant went on to win the show.

Cassidy, who boasts half a million Instagram followers, has her own podcast, The Cassidy Show.

“The show no one else would give me so I gave to myself,” she writes in the Instagram bio of the podcast.
