Influencer claims drone is peeking into her bathroom in chilling vision of the future
A model in Brazil has posted a video of the chilling moment she noticed someone spying on her from outside her bathroom window.
An influencer claims a drone is stalking her after recording a video where a camera could be seen peeking into her bathroom at her home in Brazil.
Kerolay Chaves, 22, posted the frightening clip to her 1.3million Instagram followers – and it gives a chilling glimpse into the future.
It shows her talking into the camera wrapped in a towel after getting out of the shower.
During the recording, she switches to her phone’s back camera and films outside her bathroom sliding glass door.
A drone soon flies out from behind a tree and hovers in the sky pointing directly into Kerolay’s home in Brazil.
It disappears behind the tree again seconds later.
Kerolay wrote: “People, it’s been a few days since I thought I saw a drone near the window of my bathroom.
“At first, I thought it was just in my head, but now I’m sure it’s real since it’s the second time it’s appeared here.
“It seemed like the drone was filming me, this is crazy. I can’t feel safe in my own home anymore. I’m very scared.
“I need to take measures to ensure my privacy. What should I do?”
Some of her followers gave their thoughts in the comments.
Maria suggested: “Find someone else who has a drone and make it follow that one.
“Then you’ll find out who it belongs to.”
Rodrigo wrote: “Buy a slingshot and try to shoot it down.”
And Kelvyn said: “Maybe buy a curtain?”
It appears the problem of stalker drones may only get worse as technology advances.
Plans to use the fliers for Amazon deliveries and to drop off mail are already in motion.
She added: “I’m really angry and shaking. This is an invasion of privacy. I never imagined someone would do this.
“It’s possible this has been going on for a long time, and I’ve only just noticed now. What a situation!
