QUEENSLAND police are making a fresh appeal to schoolies on the Gold Coast not to risk their lives by hopping between high-rise balconies.

Police told AAP the problem did not appear to be widespread despite media publishing photos of schoolies making the high-risk leaps, but they say even one instance is a worry.

"It appears that may be an isolated incident but even one is just one too many. They could fall and it would be disastrous," a police spokeswoman told AAP.

Schoolies caught balcony hopping would be evicted.

"The accommodation houses have been very supportive and if there is cause for them to be evicted for that behaviour, they will be," she said.

Police say they are pleased with the behaviour of schoolies overnight, with 10 school leavers arrested on 13 offences, mostly public nuisance and street offences.

There were two schoolies arrested for minor drug offences.

Liquor infringements notices were issued overnight to 115 schoolies.

Since schoolies celebrations began on Friday, a total of 19 schoolies have been arrested, compared with 43 for the same time last year.
