Passenger swears at flight attendant after mistaking turkey on his sandwich for pork

A PASSENGER has been caught on camera calling a flight attendant a “stupid f***ing b**ch” after he was served a turkey sandwich on a flight.

A FURIOUS passenger branded a flight attendant a “stupid f***ing b**ch” after apparently mistaking turkey for pork.

The passenger, who told flight crew he was Muslim, was flying from Luton airport to Skopje, Macedonia, on Sunday morning when he ordered the 4.50 euro ($7) sandwich and a bottle of water, The Sun reports.

However, during the flight the man claimed that his sandwich “didn’t taste like turkey” and then flew into a rage when he saw the word “ham” on the label.

He called over the Wizz Air flight attendant and called her a “stupid, f***ing b**ch” and a “. f***ing sl*t” before demanding a refund.

Flight crew explained the product contained no pork and the ham simply referred to the way the turkey was processed.

Turkey ham is a product made from cooked turkey and water which is formed into the shape of a ham before being sliced. It contains no pork.

Despite the explanation, the man insisted eating the sandwich would be a violation of his Muslim beliefs.

In a video of the ordeal, the man can be heard saying: “I work in restaurants, I know what’s ham. Ham is pork. It’s not tasting like turkey, it’s tasting like ham.”

He continued: “This is not right, you should tell people there is pork. I’m a Muslim. It’s pork, darling. What the f**k is your problem, stupid f***ing b**ch?

“You have given me ham, and you’re talking to me rude. I just [told] you it’s ham, you tell me it’s not pork. It’s not nice, darling, you’re supposed to be nice to the customers.

“Take the water, too. I don’t want the water either. You are being very, very rude.’’

When a senior flight attendant appeared and tried to calm the situation by explaining that turkey ham was in fact a term used to describe the processed turkey meat, the irate passenger continued his rant.

The cabin crew eventually refunded the man $7 for the sandwich and $3 for the bottle of the water, which he kept.

The bizarre scene was captured on camera by a passenger sitting in the aisle seat next to the man.

“He was getting increasingly angry,” the passenger said.

“I was a bit concerned when his voice was raised and he was swearing.

“He was sure that this roll contained pork. He said he couldn’t eat pork because of his religion.

“I suspect it was just a bad-tasting processed sandwich rather than a ham sandwich with pork inside. Nobody could convince him otherwise.”

The Sun reports the angry passenger later said: “I’m an Uber driver in London, I eat at the shops all the time. I know the taste of turkey and the roll didn’t taste like turkey.

“She [the flight attendant] should have respected me and my religion. The customer is always right.

“She’s lucky. If this wasn’t here with people around I would have been more angry.”
