Mum lets toddler use potty in plane aisle

A MOTHER let her child do a “disgusting” act in the aisle of a packed aeroplane close to other passengers and now people are furious.

Why you should keep the air vent on during a flight

A WOMAN letting her toddler use a potty in the aisle of a plane in front of shocked passengers has sparked a fierce debate about the unusual act.

The unidentified mother was pictured crouching down as her child used the potty close to other passengers.

The photograph was posted on the Passenger Shaming Instagram account, dedicated to the gross behaviour of travellers, The Sun reported.

After being spotted by cabin crew and asked to use the vacant toilet the woman reportedly replied: “I don’t give a sh*t.”

Passenger Shaming said “obviously not shaming or identifying the child. But this literal sh*t is happening out there, folks”.

The picture has now been seen thousands of times and aroused a fierce criticism from some though others have expressed sympathy.

“Disgusting” and “so unsanitary” were some of the comments on social media, with one person comparing it to “having your child go to the bathroom in the middle of a restaurant”.

Another said the woman showed “no respect for others” and another simply called her “a b*tch”.

Others wanted to know if the potty would be cleaned in the lavatory sink “where other passengers wash their hands.”

How the mum had managed to bring the potty on the plane was on the mind of other users.

“How did she pack that?” one asked.

“Just don’t understand people … like what part of that seemed OK? Made for an entertaining post though …”

But while there was condemnation, many were sympathetic to the mum.

“Hats up for every mother doesn’t give a sh*t about rules labelling and everything else when it comes for the health or the comfort of their kids,” said one user.

“She is a great mum and you will understand this act when you practice motherhood right,” another said.

And another posted: “When you gotta go … you gotta go!”

One mum said it was hard to change nappies in plane toilets.

“Not that I would do this, but it is impossible to change a diaper on a plane.

“The shelf you lay your kid on is very small and unsafe … even had to use the top of the toilet closed.

“I’d love for these assholes b*tching to go rub their faces in an aeroplane toilet.”

Passenger Shaming, which also has a Facebook page and Twitter account, was founded five years ago by former flight attendant Shawn Kathleen.
