STUNNING Melbourne model Pia Miller is flying high after stepping into Deborah Hutton's shoes as one of the new faces of Qantas.

Miller will be joined by David Whitehill as hosts of the airline's domestic and international in-flight program, Welcome Aboard.

Hutton ended her 12-year association with Qantas in May to focus on new TV projects.

Miller and Whitehill will present the latest lifestyle news, product innovations and special offers from Qantas each month.

The popular model and wife of Melbourne footy club player Brad Miller first came to the attention of Qantas when she was named ambassador for the Qantas Australian Grand Prix in March.

While still an in-demand fashion plate, the stunning mum of two has been slowly developing her acting and presenting skills.

She joined the Channel 9 Victorian travel show Postcards in February and filmed her first movie role in the comedy Big Mamma's Boy in April.

She also became an Australian citizen last week. Chilean-born Miller has been a permanent Australian resident since arriving here as a toddler.
