Woman slammed by Disneyland for revealing outfit while at theme park

Outraged female Disneyland visitors have taken to TikTok in droves to complain about the theme park’s dress code.

Outraged female Disneyland visitors have been flooding TikTok with complaints about the House Of Mouse’s allegedly unfair dress code.

In one recently resurfaced video with four million views, US woman Jordyn Graime claimed she was flagged for the top she was wearing, New York Post reports.

“When you get dress coded at Disney,” the New Jersey resident wrote in the caption, referring to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The 20-year-old can be seen at the park wearing her allegedly risqué outfit – a backless, blue, bandana-style halter top and denim shorts.

She went on to claim the theme park gave the University of Massachusetts student a “dress code” violation over her ensemble.

“Disney doesn’t like backs I guess,” she wrote.

Disney World states in its guidelines: “We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other guests.”

But there was a silver lining to the story: Jordyn reportedly received a free Disney T-shirt to wear, worth around $US20 ($A30).

The Post has contacted Disney World for comment.

Meanwhile, the student’s video sparked outrage among TikTok users.

“They’re like, ‘That’s inappropriate for children.’ No …? They don’t care. They want to go on rides and talk to characters,” one wrote.

“I’m sorry …. what? As a married mum-of-three I see no problem with this shirt,” said another.

Many commenters said Jordyn’s attire was essential for the humid Florida climate.

“Bruh y’all are acting like Disney isn’t 5000 degrees in August. Her shirt was fine and appropriate for weather,” one person said.

However, some sided with Disney.

“Well … it is a kids’ park … kids don’t need to see everything,” one person wrote.

Meanwhile, others said it was possible that Jordyn’s attire wasn’t flagged for being obscene, but rather because it may have presented a safety hazard.

According to the Disney guidelines, so-called dangerous outfits include “excessively torn clothing or loose-fitting clothing which may drag on the ground and create a potential trip hazard.”

While Jordyn received a free T-shirt to wear on her day at the theme park, Disney has reportedly stopped such offerings after influencers allegedly started wearing inappropriate clothing on purpose to get the freebies.

In October, a TikToker’s attempt to game the system allegedly backfired after Disney staff ‘forced’ her to buy a T-shirt.
