‘What happened?’: Insanity erupts as Atlanta airport brawl goes viral

Onlookers have been left stunned and baffled after two groups came together as a wild brawl erupted at an airport.

A wild, caught-on-camera, “Braveheart’’-style brawl erupted in an Atlanta airport last week, and a recording of the violent donnybrook has now gone viral.

The fight — which broke out on February 19 at the Spirit Airlines gate at Georgia’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport — involved what appeared to be two groups of men and women punching and kicking each other, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

One woman climbed over a row of airport chairs to launch kicks into the crowd a la the Mel Gibson flick “Braveheart,” as others rained blows down on each other as some fell to the ground and tried to shield themselves.

“This is embarrassing,” one witness was capture saying in the video.

“It’s not worth it!” another was heard saying.

“Y’all got kids over there, man! Hey, hey, hey, hey!” another man pleaded.

Bystanders said they didn’t know why the groups were battling so ferociously.

“I’m just trying to figure out, why were they fighting?” a traveller told the station. “What happened?”

Another man who stood near the violent scene quietly quipped that, “All I know is that if y’all touch me, I’m knocking the s**t out of everybody.”

The crowd had dissolved by the time the cops arrived.

Airport officials told TMZ that they are looking into the incident.

However police told the publication that although they were called to the scene, no victim or suspect had stayed around long enough to talk to law enforcement.
