Mr Cox’s family described him to 9 News as a “free spirited” man with a “gentle heart”.

The 26-year-old’s younger brother, Kaleb Cox, wrote on Facebook: “Words can’t describe how I’m feeling ... So grateful for the time we had together in this lifetime I will forever cherish every moment.

“I love you brother keep the bevies cold and have em ready to go for when I get there.”

A friend said there was a “massive outpouring of shock and grief in the community he was with that weekend”.

“So much love and respect for him including from me. Beautiful soul,” she wrote.

Friends of Mr Retallack told The West Australian he was a “lovely bloke” who was “incredibly funny”.

They described him as “kind-hearted” and “one of the most caring people”.

Friends also took to Mr Retallack’s Facebook to leave tributes and express their shock.

“I can’t formulate the words as I’m still in complete shock you’re no longer here,” one wrote.

Another penned: “To wake up and find out you have passed away brother is absolutely heart shattering ... I’ll never forget you and what you have done for me, you were a true mate and could always count on you.”

Ms Websdale’s cricket club Rockingham Hornets shared a tribute saying she was an inaugural member of their women’s A grade team and she would be “greatly missed”.

According to Nine, it took emergency services more than three hours to get the bodies out of the wreckage because the car was so badly damaged.

It was also reported friends had claimed they were not speeding and were all wearing seatbelts.

Further details have not been released by police.

Earlier the same day, a 17-year-old and 16-year-old died when an off-road motorbike and ute crashed near Roebourne in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

Investigators are asking any witnesses of either fatal crash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
