Three passengers escorted off Jetstar plane after mid-flight brawl

Shocking footage has revealed a wild brawl that broke out between multiple passengers on a Jetstar flight to Brisbane.

A wild brawl has broken out on-board a Jetstar flight with police having to drag three passengers off the plane once it landed, including a shirtless traveller.

The brawl erupted on Thursday, onan afternoon flight from Denpasar, Bali, with shocking footage showing passengers screaming and pleading for the scuffle to stop.

Travellers were shocked by the violent behaviour, which occurred just two hours into the trip.

One woman is heard repeatedly yelling at the individuals involved “stop”.

A man is heard urging one of the men caught up in the fracas to “knock him out”, referring to another passenger involved in the altercation.

Witnesses have reported one of the men became violent with another couple just two hours after takeoff, prompting up to six people to split up the fight.

Flight crew were forced to intervene while the pilot threatened to make an emergency landing unless the fighting stopped.

The situation has been described as “distressing” for all on-board, with crew receiving support after dealing with the violence.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) told NCA NewsWire one female and two male passengers were escorted off the plan once the aircraft landed in Brisbane.

Multiple bystanders could be heard cheering and clapping when police boarded the plane, with one man shouting “Don’t come back”.

“All three passengers were compliant with police directions to disembark,” an AFP spokesperson said.

“No one has been charged in relation to the incident.”

In a statement given to NCA NewsWire, a Jetstar spokesperson said the incident was being investigated and acknowledged it would have been “very distressing” for passengers.

“This type of violent and disruptive behaviour is completely unacceptable and will never be tolerated on our flights,” the spokesperson said.

“This was also an extremely tough situation for our crew and we’re providing support to them.”

The airline confirmed two male passengers have been given temporary flying bans with Jetstar and Qantas while a formal review is underway.
