The mum who fell to her death at Niagara Falls with her baby and young son wrote a series of harrowing posts detailing her heartbreak at splitting from her child’s father.

The New York Post reports Chianti Means, 33, wrote the Facebook posts under the name Diamond Scott in the weeks before she died at the popular Luna Island overlook on Monday with her kids, Roman Rossman, 9, and five-month-old Mecca Means, in what police believe was an “intentional act”.

“I wish someone would love me because the man that’s suppose to does not,” she wrote late last month, days before saying she was “sick of irritation, anger, sadness and rage”.

“Everyone please leave me alone I’m in love with my daughter father,” she wrote a few days later, on October 1.

“I want my family back. Respectfully (I don’t give a f***) what I said about him before or what anyone else thinks.”

In another post from the same day, the mum wrote, “You have to hold on to the ones you love. Never know when you might lose them.”

In one of her most recent exchanges, the mum was asked why she had split from her ex.

“Cause I was a dumb a – pregnant b**ch who swore up & down I ain’t want him,” she replied.

The haunting messages emerged as authorities continued to scour the area for the three bodies in the wake of Monday’s tragedy.

“The investigation has determined that this incident was intentional in nature, though the circumstances remain under investigation,” state troopers said in a Wednesday statement.

“New York State Park Police and State Police search/rescue efforts were conducted with negative results.”

The Post reached out to police on Thursday about the search but didn’t hear back immediately.

Meanwhile, tributes for Ms Means and her kids flowed on social media.

“I have been speechless and crying and couldn’t sleep at all,” friend Kayshawna Morgane wrote on Facebook. “My heart is broken. Mental health is no joke.”

“I can’t even bear to write a post about her and share memories,” another friend Mich Molina penned.

“I am literally sick to my stomach and I can’t even deal with the emotions I am feeling. Just know her and her children are dearly loved by me and my children.”
