The horrific images of the Air India plane crash have shocked the world with reports of at least 290 people dead in the worst air disaster in more than a decade.

British national Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, was the only survivor of an Air India crash and for how horrific the damage was, escaped relatively unscathed. Ramesh was in seat 11A, right next to an emergency exit. “Thirty seconds after takeoff, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly,” Mr Ramesh is reported as saying by new outlet The New Indian Express. “There were dead bodies around me. I got scared. I got up and ran.
