Couple’s chilling posts before plane went down in Michigan

A couple on board a plane, which crashed off the coast of an island, posted a series of video of previous similar flights they had been on.

A couple who died in the Beaver Island plane crash posted mid-air footage of previous flights.

The pair, Kate Lease and Adam Kendal, who posted on Instagram under the name “lifewithoutwaiting” shared a brief clip of a flight over the island.

They shared pictures of their adventures and were often accompanied by their two dogs, Frank and Baker.

Just three days ago the couple posted a brief clip of a flight over Beaver Island in Lake Michigan.

They captioned the post with the words: “Flying (again!) to take the big dog back to his third vet appointment. Crossing all the fingers and toes for better news.”

In a previous post, dated October 29, 2021, the couple added a picture of another flight over the island and captioned it: “That little bitty road leads to one of our favourite rustic campgrounds and now some how we live on the other side of the epic view. Life is wild.”

Crashes are rare on the island, the last one happened in 2001.

The couple also posted a black and white photo which included their two dogs and was called a “family photo”.

They wrote: “We’ve owned this airstream going on 6 years and this is our very first family photo in the doorway. #failedinfluencers Thanks @mmivphoto for these impromptu happy shots. I always want to remember us like this.”

A total of four people died in the tragedy on November 13 with realtor, Mike Perdue, also being reported to have lost his life.

Two dogs on board also perished in the tragedy.

The couple shared photos on Instagram of their adventures along with their two dogs Frank and Baker.

Only a little girl aged 11 survived the crash but is said to be severely injured.

The youngster was named by local media as Perdue’s daughter.

She has been taken to McClaren Northern Michigan Hospital.

US Coast Guard officials confirmed the crash of a single-engine commuter plane.

They were able to see the debris of the crash on the island with local emergency medical teams responding to the scene.

According to historical data, this is the first crash of Island Airways.

In February 2001, another crash took the lives of a pilot and one passenger.

A mother and her three children survived and waited 15 hours for rescue.
