Bali hotel ceiling collapses onto tourist in the middle of the night

A tourist was staying at a hotel in Bali when something completely unexpected woke her up at 3am, leaving her startled.

A woman was left completely startled when the ceiling of her hotel room suddenly collapsed onto her in the middle of the night.

Alma Lagerstedt was staying at a hotel by Pandawa Beach in Bali when a loud crash jolted her awake at 3am.

The 23-year-old surfer and yoga teacher from Sweden shared footage of the wild incident to her TikTok, with the clip instantly going viral.

“You know when you’re sleeping in your bed at 3m, and the f*****g roof falls down on top of you in bed?” she said as she filmed bits of the ceiling all over her bed and the floor.

“The whole f*****g roof. What the actual f**k. Oh my God.”

Alma, covered in a white towel and surrounded by the rubble that was her former roof, then pointed the camera upward to show just panels left of the ceiling.

“OMG this is actually dangerous,” one viewer commented.

“GIRL this happened to me last week!!” another claimed, while a third added: “Noooo way! That’s crazy tho!”

Alma said after it happened, she stayed at a friend’s house before packing her belongings and relocating to another hotel.

“I didn’t really wanna stay there anymore, so in the end I got all the money back, and I moved to another place,” she said.

Alma’s clip has been viewed more than 205,000 times with some joking “just Bali things”.

“Welcome [to] Bali baby,” one person joked.
