An Australian man has been rushed to hospital in Bali’s popular party precinct of Kuta, after falling from the second floor of a hotel and suffering serious spinal injuries.
The incident reportedly occurred around 4.25am on Saturday morning at Ramada Encore Hotel.
Video footage from the fall has been released by Badung Fire Department, which shows emergency service crews lowering the unidentified man to the ground on a stretcher while he cries out in pain.
“I can’t”, “oh my god”, he could be heard saying in the grainy footage.
Authorities confirmed the man to be in his 30s, and known only as Dylan. They said he had suffered a tailbone fracture as a result of the traumatic fall, with the cause not yet known.
The horror fall comes just months after Australian DJ and OnlyFans creator, Courtney Mills, fell to her death from a balcony while in Kuta.
The 37-year-old was visiting her two dogs in Bali when she fell. Ms Mills was rushed to hospital with critical injuries, and after undergoing several emergency operations, she died two days later.
At the time, Ms Mills sister, Kiani, said her sibling had a “sparkle” unlike any other.
“Our hearts are shattered as we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of our beloved Courtney Mills, in Bali,” she posted on Facebook.
“Courtney touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her light, sparkle, and spirit will forever remain with us.
“Courtney lived her life to the fullest and brought so much joy to those around her.”
