An Australian woman has been found dead in a hotel bathtub in Bali.
Brisbane woman Pauline Cannon, 67, was discovered at about 7.30am on Sunday when staff at the Pullman Hotel in Kuta noticed water running from her room into a corridor.
Front desk staff at the resort tried calling the room several times but when they did not get a response they used a security master key to get into the double locked room,7NEWSreported.
Staff found Cannon submerged in the bath, and the tap still running. A medical officer found no pulse and Cannon was not breathing.
Local police said an examination found no signs of violence on her body.
Only hours before her death Cannon posted a video on social media of her at a bar.
“Here we go. Say goodnight, Irene,” she said in the video, before taking a drink from a shot glass and sucking on a lime.
The clip, that was posted on Saturday night was captioned: “The things you do in Bali.”
“The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian who died in Bali,” the agency told 7NEWS.
