Tintin holidays offer plenty of adventure

TRAVEL company offering Tintin fans the chance to follow in the footsteps of the world famous adventurer.

A TRAVEL company is offering Tintin fans the chance to follow in the footsteps of the world famous adventurer by offering Tintin-themed holiday packages.

On the go tours have created action-packed tours through India, Egypt, Jordan and Belgium.

While local guides inform travellers of the destinations, Tintinologists will accompany the group to talk about the famous comic books.

The tours are:

Land of the Pharaohs - 10 days
See the pyramids and the treasures of the Egyptian museum and sail the river Nile with the Land of the Pharaohs 10-day tour tour. Travellers will also have the chance ride in a hot air balloon over Luxor’s West Bank, search the ancient tombs in the Valleys of Kings and Queens and take a flight to the colossal temple of King Ramses II at Abu Simbel. The tour finishes in downtown Cairo.

A very Indian Adventure - 15 days
The two-week tour through North India's Maharaja Gaipajama takes in Delhi, Agra, Ranthambhore National Park,
the City of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Shimla.

Jordan and the Rose City - 8 days
The Arabian adventure includes a dip in the Dead Sea, the Rose City of Petra and camping under the stars in the the Wadi Rum desert. There's also the chance to snorkel in the Red Sea by Aqaba.

Brussels - Home to Hergé - 3 days
Fans can discover the home of Tintin's creator taking in the Hergé Museum and a Tintin Walking Tour.
