Personal jetpack on skis
Troy Hartman took to the ski fields in Canada to trial his home-made jetpack, made from a turbo-jet engine that is designed for military drones. He gave the throttle about 50 per cent and reached speeds of up to 80 km/h. His biggest fear when taking to the slopes with the jetpack? When the engines fail to start up properly they can catch fire - and they sit right on his back.
