Inside the $24,000 a night Royal Suite at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai

IT'S huge. It's dazzling. It's outrageously lavish and is truly fit for a king. Take a look inside one of the most expensive hotel rooms in the world, at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

24 thousand dollars a night hotel suite

HAVE you ever dreamed about living like royalty?

Well this should hit the spot. Perched on the 25th floor of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the Royal Suite is a sight for sore eyes.

The Burj is famous for its striking sail-shape design, and the lavish suite, which is one of the most expensive hotel rooms in the world, has an average price tag of $24,000 a night. Let's just say it will quickly burn a hole in your wallet!

I had a chance to soak up the flashy suite's sweet offerings during a recent visit to Dubai. It's certainly the most impressive hotel room I've ever seen. In fact, it's known as "the world's only seven-star hotel".

It's over the top. It's MASSIVE - 780 square metres, to be exact. It's extremely colourful, bright and certainly fit for a king.

The suite takes up two floors. Opulence is lurking in every corner and hits you straight away when the doors open and you're greeted with an impressive gold and marble stairway (of course, you made your way to the suite via your own private elevator).

Huge pillars are covered in 22-karat gold and you really feel like a star.

This stairway is just for the suite, it's not the hotel lobby! Though you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise ...

You have your own private dining area - complete with a butler - and a comfy Arabic-style lounge.

The top level of the massive suite is essentially divided into two sections - one to suit a man's taste, and the other for a woman's, where bright pink, yellow and orange colours abound.

There's also a private library.

And here's a surprise, the master bed rotates! What's more the second bedroom features a giant mirror positioned directly above the bed, apparently to make things appear more spacious.

There's also the 13-selection pillow menus!

I found the bathrooms (yep, plural - there's three) the most impressive. With a spa bath, marble and gold features, and generally spectacularly grand colour scheme, who wouldn't love it? You also get Hermes fragrances and body products. There are even cushions placed around the seats along the edge of the bathroom in case you feel like chilling out in there.

Hey, when they're this beautiful, why not?

The patterns on the carpets are quite eye-catching as well. They fit in well with the bright colour scheme of the suite!

Oh, and did we mention you get your own private cinema?

The suite also has spectacular views, of course.

And how do you get to this hotel? A chauffer-drives Rolls Royce. Or a helicopter, if you have some extra cash.
