You can go on a free luxury food and wine cruise to Croatia and get paid $900 to do it

As if a food and wine cruise in Croatia wasn’t enough of a good idea — this company is looking to pay someone to take the trip.

A cruise company is offering one lucky person a free food and wine trip exploring the Croatian coast and islands.

Even better — you’ll be paid a cool $890 for the experience.

Croatian travel company Cruise Croatia is looking for a taste tester to trial their seven-day holidays, The Sun reports.

Launching in 2020, their yacht will travel from Split to Dubrovnik, exploring the coast line and the Dalmatian islands.

Food, wine, Croatia and a pay cheque. What could be better?

Along the way, you’ll be invited to visit oyster farms as well as some of the 800 traditional wineries where you can dine on some of the richest foods of the region.

Local cooking experiences will also be included, with the matriarch of the family teaching the finest meals that have been passed down through generations.

Of course, it isn’t all cuisine, with tours of the Krka National Park as well as visits to Hvar and Vis also part of the trip.

Breakfast and a four-course lunch alongside a wine pairing are included every day.

The lucky applicant will need to be a keen foodie and drinker and know their wines and gourmet food to give detailed reviews of the menus and excursions.

Guests will stay on the luxury yacht cruise ship with a private balcony room for the seven days.

Food enthusiasts can apply on the website with their details, explaining why they deserve the opportunity.

You have until September 4 to apply and need to be able to travel on October 10, 2020.

Applicants must be over 18 and flights are not included.

The trips will cost from $2945 for seven nights when they launch next year.
