The Carnival Vista will contain huge water park and suspended rail ride

A NEW cruiseliner projected to be ready in 2016 will boast some very fun features, allowing guests to peddle around in the sky and enjoy a kaleidoscope themed water park.

CRUISELINER giant Carnival, has revealed what their next ship will look like and it’s not for the faint-hearted.

The ship is projected to be in the water by mid 2016 and among its attributes is a world first elevated “sky ride” rail and a water park consisting of a 140 metre tube-slide.

The sky ride feature is a 250 metre suspended rail consisting of hanging “recumbent-like” bicycles that allow people to peddle themselves around the ship and enjoy views from 45 meters above the deck.

The deck on the Carnival Vista will provide the ultimate playground for cruise-goers.

The ship is clearly catering to its more active guests and next to the sky ride will be a hanging ropes course as well as the largest water park in the fleet.

According to the company, guests will be able to hop on inflatable rafts and slide their way through an “adventure of exhilarating twists and turns with stunning kaleidoscope visual effects.”

The vessel will also be able to boast the very first IMAX theatre at sea and is slated to be three decks high and will show the latest Hollywood blockbusters, classics and IMAX documentary films.

The new ship will also contain a pub with an active brewery on site. While this is certain to impress beer-lovers, the Carnival Vista will be the second ship to have such a feature as German cruise ship, AIDAblue, has maintained an on-board brewery for a number of years.
