Travel Deal Tuesday: Your kids can now fly and stay in Bali for free

If the end of school holidays has you dreaming of a relaxing time away – either with or without the kids – this deal couldn’t have come at a better time.

Insider's Guide to cheap flights

If the end of the school holidays has you dreaming of your next adventure as a family – this new deal to Bali will have you reaching for your passport in seconds.

As one of the most popular spots for Aussies to travel to – especially if you have little ones in toe – a cheap trip to Bali is never one to ignore.

Today, Jetstar has launched a “Kids Fly & Stay Free” sale – meaning you won’t need to fork out for the kids on your next trip to the holiday island.

It launches today through the Jetstar website, and every child up to the age off 11 years will not only fly but also stay for free with the sale.

The catch? There needs to be a full-paying adult on-board per child, and as with most Jetstar deals – you’ll also need to splash out on baggage.

The sale allows families to fly as early as April this year with selected departures right up until March 2021 – depending on the accommodation chosen.

With deals available from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin and Perth, this national sale has flight and 12 luxury hotel combos from as little as $618.

At the Four Points by Sheraton in Kuta you can score five nights and return starter airfares – plus breakfasts and a whole lot of discounts – from Sydney priced from $853 (based on two adults and two kids sharing). From Darwin, it’s just $618.

If you’re in the market for something a little pricier, it’ll cost you $1053 ex Sydney and $1049 ex Melbourne to stay five nights at the Hard Rock Hotel Bali.

If you’re looking for your next stay at sea – and one that won’t cost you thousands – this special rate on-board Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor could save you hundreds.

Carnival Cruise Line has launched its “Get Me Out Of There” sale with some pretty decent savings on many tropical South Pacific cruises, including trips to New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu.

By booking now, you can save around $900 per cabin plus 50 per cent reduced deposits per person, and if you book by February 27, 2020, you can also secure a free cabin upgrade.

So, instead of paying $1049 for an eight-day cruise on-board the Carnival Splendor in an interior twin room, you’ll pay from just $834.

For a slightly longer voyage in June 2020, instead of the $1249 rate in an interior room, you’ll be paying less than $1000 for the trip.
