YOU could be on your way to Thailand for the price of one night’s stay in a hotel — but this is one super quick sale, so you better be quick.

MADE a resolution to travel more in the new year? We’ve got you sorted.

Budget airlines, Scoot and Tigerair, are offering flights to Phuket for just $135 one-way. That’s right, you could be poolside in Thailand for less than a night’s stay in a hotel.

On sale today until 18 December, 2016, the one-way sale to Phuket starts at $135 from Perth, $199 from Sydney and Melbourne and $189 from Gold Coast.

Seem to good to be true? There is a catch. Passengers must fly to Singapore with Scoot then take a connecting flight with Tigerair to Phuket.

Other destinations included in the sale are Hong Kong from $175, Cebu from $185 and Penang from $135 — one-way only.

Singapore’s low-cost carrier, Scoot, is famous for its low fares from Australia including a $369 flight to Europe and $199 flight to the Maldives earlier in the year.

But if you decide your economy seat isn’t good enough on the day, you can always upgrade after you board.

Scoot’s policy is to announce any available seats up the pointy end of the plane after passengers have boarded, in case some may want to pay for an upgrade to business class.

The fares include taxes but do not include baggage, food or in-flight entertainment. Travel dates are limited to 8 January — 8 June 2017 (blackout periods may apply). See flyscoot.com for more information.
