The UK is famous for its terrible weather but in just a few years, the cold country will welcome a wild new water park, full of insane features.

The UK’s first all-season beach will open in 2025 — as plans for a spectacular £250 million ($A434 million) waterpark are revealed for the first time.

Therme Manchester will feature a whopping 35 water slides, 20 pools and a top-of-the-range spa, The Sun reported.

But its most extraordinary feature will be an indoor seaside resort with lapping waves and soft sands — located right in the centre of the UK city of Manchester and four hours from London.

New CGI images published in the Manchester Evening Newsshow a Seychelles-style beach with palm trees and sun loungers underneath a huge glass dome.

There’ll also be a “next generation waterpark” with thermal bathing and the world’s first “living water slides”, where visitors can whizz past stunning plants.

Elsewhere, guests will find an on-site farm and botanical gardens.

Inside the family zone will be 25 swimming pools, including a wave pool, as well as more than 35 water slides and water fitness classes.

Guests will also be able to relax in the palm tree relaxation area, or the two acre “wellbeing garden” shaped like a rose with bio-diverse plants and water features.

Adults can enjoy time away from kids with a no-child section, which will have water lagoons, mineral bars, swim up bars, and 30 steam rooms and saunas.

Fitness fanatics can take advantage of the health classes such as yoga and pilates and you won’t even need to leave to eat, with restaurants and cafes also part of the planning.

The aim of the new resort is to bring together “the tradition of the ancient Roman spa with an indoor tropical paradise”.

The vast site will be found within glass domes set moments from a Holiday Inn and a McDonald’s.

Those behind the scheme say they want to create “an integrated experience to benefit physical and mental health”.

Building work will begin in 2023, with a grand opening set to take place two years later.

“Our commitment to bring Therme Manchester to the UK is as strong as ever,” said Stelian Iacob, senior vice president of Therme Group and CEO of Therme Group UK.

“Expert independent studies have shown the hugely positive economic and social impact that Therme Manchester will have, helping to create jobs, economic prosperity and bringing health and wellbeing to the daily lives of millions of guests.”

It expects to attract two million people annually, with prices not yet revealed, although could see guests paying a fee for the whole attraction or just a single zone.

Bosses plan to roll out more “urban oasis” sites in Glasgow, London and Wales in the future — and say they want to make a Therme available to 90 per cent of the UK population within a 90-minute travel time.

A second water park is also set to open at the Trafford Centre, a massive shopping centre in Manchester, which will feature a massive surfing lagoon at a cost of £60 million ($A104 million).
