Emergency services called to free climber stuck on Mount Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast

A climber has been rescued off Mount Beerwah after becoming stuck on a ledge on Monday afternoon.

A climber has been rescued from Mount Beerwah after becoming stuck on a ledge on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services assist the man, who became stuck in a tight spot on Mount Beerwah after 12.40pm Monday.

Emergency services were called to the Glass House Mountains, north of Brisbane, about 12.40pm after reports a man had become stuck on a ledge while climbing.

Helicopter footage shows emergency services descending on the mountain to help extricate the man from the ledge.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the man had been freed about 2.45pm and was walking back down the mountain with emergency services.

No injuries were reported.
