A TikTok user has come up with a cheeky way to travel with jewellery, which means no more knots and tangles in your suitcase.
If you’ve ever arrived at your hotel or Airbnb with a knotted bundle of gold and silver, this cheeky hack may solve your jewellery woes while travelling.
TikTok user Deanna Giulietti has shown her 1.3 million followers how to avoid knotting your necklaces while travelling, by using a simple everyday item.
By feeding your necklace through a paper straw and clasping it as normal, the simple procedure will stop the chain from getting knotted up.
“When I travel for the weekend, I put all my necklaces on my neck because I’m always afraid if I throw them in my bag they’re going to, like, turn into a knot. But you guys turned me onto the straw method,” she said, acknowledging her social media followers who suggested the idea.
“Take a straw that’s like the same length as the necklace … feed it through. Look at this! It will never get tangled.”

The hack was met with hundreds of comments, with many saying the hack “will change lives”.
