Taylor Swift fans on their way back home from the star’s concert took advantage of their delayed flight by breaking out in song – but the act has hit a nerve.

Some have described it as a “nightmare”, while others a “dream”. You decide.

The Swifties were on a Southwest Airlines flight from Denver to Salt Lake City after having just watched their idol perform her first night in Colorado as part of her The Eras Tour.

After learning their flight was delayed, they decided to keep the post-concert vibes going by having a Swift-themed sing-a-long.

A TikTok shared by Hannah Hazlett, who was on the flight, has since gone viral, clocking more than 1.5 million views in just two days.

The video shows passengers in their element as they began to sing the star’s hit song ‘Love Story,’ recording the moment on their phones while others turned on their flashlights and swayed from side-to-side.

“I WANNA BE IN THAT PLANE,” one fan commented.

“This is epic,” another wrote.

One fan said it would have made their “flying anxiety disappear”.

“Taylor Swift really is THAT powerful,” another responded.

A flight attendant commented that he was on the plane and was the one who played the song.

“I was the FA playing it in the back!!!,” he said, with his comment immediately attracting a flood of responses.
“You are the BEST!!!” one person wrote.

“God bless you Zach!” said another.

Even the airline commented: “Thanks for being the best, Zach!”

Hannah’s clip also went viral on Twitter, however, it didn’t get the same, positive reaction as it did on TikTok.

“HELL no,” wrote the Twitter user who shared the clip.

It has since racked up 34.7 million views and over 13,000 comments, sparking a debate about plane etiquette.

“People saying let them have fun. so sorry I paid for a flight and not a concert??” one person wrote.

“No, that just obnoxious. It’s not karaoke night … there are other people on the plane,” wrote another, while a third described the act as “annoying” and “inconsiderate”.

“Omg … flying is stressful enough without the whole plane singing ANY music,” they wrote.

One person said while they like Taylor Swift, “this was so unnecessary”.

“I can’t think of anything worse on a flight … ANYTHING,” said another.

One woman joked she would have “opened that emergency door soooooo quick omg”, while others described it as a “nightmare”.

But fans weren’t having any of it and chimed in to defend their fellow Swifties.

“Let people enjoy things,” one person wrote.

“Pretty cool. You cant lie,” said another.

“More like hell yes,” a third person added, while a fourth wrote, “It’s like a dream holy s**t.”
