These super-rich bachelors are actually real-life princes
THEY are the handsome and super-rich bachelors from around the world. And there’s something they all try to keep hush-hush.
EVER since Princess Mary, the former real estate agent from Tasmania, met Prince Frederick at an Aussie pub, many of us have held out hope that one day our prince may come along.
But alas, with Prince Harry’s only scheduled public appearance at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra flying by earlier this week without a whisper of romance, Australian royalty wannabes might need to look further afield.
So flight comparison website Cheapflights.com.au has scoured the globe for four of the world’s most eligible royals — and found the cheapest airfares for Aussie women to go find their prince.
“These are eligible royal bachelors who are worth crossing continents for,” Cheapflights spokesman Ben Rosier said.
Luxembourg: Prince Sebastien Henri Marie Guillaume (pictured above)
Prince Sebastien Henri Marie Guillaume of Luxembourg, also the Prince of Nassau, has a lengthy title. He’s fifth in line to the throne, as the youngest son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria.
The 23-year-old loves to travel and is a keen sportsman who’s into climbing, skiing, swimming and Rugby union. He also has an eye for art.
If you’re hopeful to meet Prince Sebastien, you can jump on a flight to Luxembourg for less than $1400.
Dubai: Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum
Sheik Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai is a poet, accomplished equestrian rider and amateur skydiver. The 33-year old is a graduate of Sandhurst military college and the London School of Economics. His poetry is published under the pen-name of Fazza and mainly focuses on romantic, patriotic and family themes.
Tall, dark, handsome, sporty and sensitive — you can find return flights, including all fees and charges to Dubai from less than $1200. Bargain, right?

Liechtenstein: Prince Wenzeslaus
Nestled between the mountain ranges of Switzerland and Austria is the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein and Europe’s only absolute monarchy. The 41-year-old Prince Wenzeslaus prefers to be called Vincent and is nicknamed ‘Vince the Prince’.
His family is considered the richest monarchy in Europe and the never-married royal playboy dated Victoria’s Secret supermodel Adriana Lima, but is presently back on the singles market. So get shopping girls.
Liechtenstein doesn’t have an airport, so you’ll have to fly into Zurich and catch the train or bus for the 115-kilometre trip.
You can get return flights from Australia to Switzerland for less than $1500.
Denmark: Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark
Prince Philippos is the youngest son of King Constantine of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie of Denmark and comes with a double-whammy title, despite Greece being declared a republic in 1973.
You could bump into the media-shy Prince on Wall Street in New York where he has carved out a successful career in finance and works as an analyst for a hedge fund.
