TRAVELLERS have been warned of delays at the airport as fierce weather continues to wreak havoc, with one Qantas flyer claiming there was minor flooding on-board.
PASSENGERS have been warned to brace for delay at Sydney Airport as fierce weather continues to wreak havoc.
Airport spokeswoman Laura Stevens said previous reports that it has been forced to shut are incorrect.
“Sydney Airport is not closed,” Ms Stevens said. “The airport remains open and operations continue.”
However, there have been some dramas, and the conditions have resulted in delays.
“Some international flights have been diverted and there are domestic delays of up to 60 minutes. Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for their latest flight details.
