‘Appalling’: Australian sex worker Samantha X reveals huge banking blow

Samantha X has revealed she got so sick on a flight from Bali, she collapsed.

The high-profile Australian escort took to Twitter on June 15 explaining she was on a Qantas flight from Denpasar to Melbourne, when she suddenly fell ill.

In her tweet, alongside a photo of herself in a wheelchair, Samantha X thanked the airline staff for responding swiftly.

“A very grateful THANK YOU to all the amazing @Qantas cabin crew, esp Debbie, from this morning’s QF46 Denpasar to Melbourne, who looked after me I fell ill,” she wrote.

“I don’t recommend getting sick on a flight but the bonus is you’re swept through customs in seconds.”

Samantha X confirmed she didn’t have Covid and told followers she believes to have “blacked out”.

“Thank god no,” she responded to one person who asked if she had ‘Bali belly’.

“I don’t know yet, just waiting to see doctor at Melbs airport as I need clearance to fly back to Sydney,” she said at the time.

Samantha X said Qantas cabin crew were “calm and reassuring” as they wheeled her through Melbourne Airport.

“It’s possibly the worst place to get sick I agree,” she told another follower who revealed they too got sick on a plane.

“A million eyes on you when you’re lying on the aisle,” Samantha X said, adding she had an oxygen mask strapped to her face.

“Nowhere to hide!!”

On Tuesday, the escort and columnist, shared another tweet after landing in Perth.

“My flight was on time. My luggage wasn’t lost. And I didn’t collapse on the flight a la Bali style last week, despite massive anxiety it was going to happen again. Thank you

@Qantas!” she wrote.

It comes after the Sydney personality revealed her huge banking blow.

In May, she hit out at banking firm ING, claiming the company shut down her accounts with no explanation.

She said she had logged into her accounts to do some internet banking when she discovered they had been abruptly closed.

Samantha X explained she had “never been overdrawn” and had held her accounts for “years” with no incident, blasting the move as “appalling”.

She told news.com.au she had called ING “straight away”, initially fearing she had been scammed or that the bank had concerns about a recent transaction – but was left shocked by the company’s response.

“They told me they had closed my account, and when I asked what they meant, they said ‘we can’t tell you why sorry, it is a business decision’,” she said.

Luckily, Samantha X had recently opened an account with another bank, and the money from her ING accounts were being transferred.

An ING spokeswoman declined to discuss which circumstances could prompt the bank to close a customer’s account when contacted for comment by news.com.au.

In the case of Samantha X specifically, the spokeswoman said: “Due to customer confidentiality we are unable to discuss.”
