Qantas has revealed it will discount half a million fares across most of its domestic network following the success of its recent international sale.

The Aussie carrier announced on Thursday it will drop the price on more than 500,000 fares on its domestic routes.

But travellers have been warned they need to be quick if they want to snatch a flight with the sale lasting for just three days.

The cheapest route is Byron to Sydney one-way starting from $109, with more than 25 routes on sale for under $150, for travel from April to mid-September 2024.

A one-way flight from Melbourne to Sydney will set you back $129, while Brisbane to Hervey Bay costs $139.

The sale includes destinations to and from most capital cities and regional towns, including Brisbane to Prosperine and Adelaide to Kangaroo Island.

The domestic discounts come after the airline got “overwhelmingly positive customer feedback” for its recent international sale that saw prices drop to $499 return.

“We saw a huge response to our international sale last week and we expect this domestic sale to be just as popular,” Qantas chief customer officer Catriona Larritt said.

“This is the fifth sale from Qantas this year, giving hundreds of thousands of Australians the option to lock-in discounted fares to their dream holiday destination.”

Qantas’ domestic sale is on now for 72 hours. Discounted fares include checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages, free Wi-Fi and seat selection.
