One of Australia’s favourite destinations sells flights for $250
Some of the most popular travel destinations for Aussie travellers are now a lot cheaper, as a major airline slashed prices for some fares by hundreds.
A budget airline has announced a major sale on flights from Australia to some of the hottest global destinations in 2024, including Bali, Thailand and India.
Scoot, the budget arm of Singapore Airlines, has dropped the mammoth sale just before the end of the year, with jaw-dropping prices on international flights on sale until Saturday 2 November.
Economy airfares start from $219 for a one-way flight.
There are more than 15,000 seats on sale on flights to Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, China, India, the Philippines, South Korea and Vietnam.
The airline listed their travel period, with flights departing Sydney and Melbourne between January 21 until March 18, 2025, while flights out of Perth start from November 6, 2024 until November 21st and then again from January 19 next year until March 28.
Scoot is offering discounted flights to a range of destinations, including Chennai, India (from $299 out of Sydney, Phuket in Thailand from $239 out of Melbourne one way and Denpasar (Bali) from $259 out of Sydney, $229 out of Melbourne and $209 from Perth.
The sale also includes fares to the airline’s newest destination, Malacca in Malaysia from $239 one way out of Sydney, $219 from Melbourne and just $189 out of Perth.
While passengers do have the option of requesting more baggage allowance or priority booking via ScootPlus tickets, regular travellers flying with Scoot can enjoy more carry-on baggage on Economy with 10kg cabin baggage allowance – that’s 3kg more than most airlines.
