As airlines around the world make changes to their scheduled routes amid the coronavirus outbreak, we’ve compiled all the flight suspensions, reductions and cancellations for the four major airlines across Australia.

QANTAS
On Tuesday, March 17, Qantas and Jetstar announced a 90 per cent reduction in total international capacity, and 60 per cent reduction in total domestic capacity, until at least the end of May.

NORTH AMERICA
• Brisbane-San Francisco (from April 18)
• Melbourne-San Francisco (from April 18)

USA
• Brisbane-Chicago (new route) will be delayed from April 15 to mid-September.
RE-ROUTED:
LONDON
• Sydney-Singapore-London return service temporarily re-routed to become a Sydney-Perth-London service (from April 20).
REDUCED:
ASIA
• Sydney-Hong Kong – reduced from 14 return flights per week to seven
• Brisbane-Hong Kong – reduced from seven return flights per week to four
• Melbourne-Hong Kong – reduced from seven return flights per week to five
• Melbourne-Singapore – seven return flights per week cancelled (from April 20)
NEW ZEALAND
• Melbourne-Auckland (5 return cancellations)
AIRCRAFT CHANGES (at least mid-September 2020):

• Melbourne-Singapore – B787 replaced by larger A330 on seven return flights per week (from May 4)
• Sydney-Tokyo (Haneda) – B747 replaced by smaller A330 (from March 30)
NORTH AMERICA
• Sydney-San Francisco – B787 replaced by larger B747 (from April 18)
• Sydney-Dallas/Fort Worth – A380 replaced by smaller B787 (from April 20)
• Melbourne-Los Angeles – A380 replaced by smaller B787 (from June 1)
