Emirates first class: Casey Neistat’s YouTube video takes us inside

Casey Neistat offers a peek behind the curtain at the pointy-end of the plane.

WHEN a man was upgraded to first class on an Emirates flight, he never expected the service to be so swanky, reports The Sun.

Vlogger Casey Neistat filmed the whole experience on board the flight, which included caviar, champagne and even a shower thousands of feet in the air.

Taking to YouTube to share his experience, Casey revealed: “Travelling from Dubai to New York City on Emirates Airline I got a free upgrade to first class.”

The jammy traveller looked up how much it cost to sit in the premium seats and was stunned to find that they cost a whopping £14,000 (A$24,000) per flight.

After boarding the plane, the online sensation began to check out his surroundings.

The individual pod, which has its own sliding door for privacy, has plenty of leg room.

A kind flight attendant informed Casey that he could order whatever he wanted off an a la carte menu at any point on the flight.

Taking full advantage of the opportunity, the vlogger opted for some caviar … which was clearly an acquired taste.

Unlike in economy, the luxury-loving travellers in first class are able to enjoy a drink without moving from their seats.

Casey demonstrated how easy it was to get a nice bevvy, by simply pressing a button and watching the drinks options pop up.

If that wasn’t indulgent enough, the internet star was also provided with an assortment of in-flight goodies, including shaving cream, deodorant, slippers, eye mask and pyjamas.

There’s no chance of boredom during the travel time, as the up-market seats are sat in front of a huge touchscreen TV which is equipped with plenty of entertainment options.

First class flyers definitely don’t have to put up with the struggle of trying to get to sleep in an uncomfortable position.

A doting air hostess was quick to step in to help Casey change his seat from an upright position into a bed, which was even covered in sheets.

After getting snuggled and ready for rest, Casey admitted: “This is more comfortable than my bed at home, it’s so cosy.”

It's hard not to look smug after scoring an upgrade to first class on Emirates.

So first class Emirates travellers look as good as they step off the plane as they do when they get on, they are able to reserve a shower spot.

The vlogger walked around the roomy bathroom area, which was complete with towels, body wash and its own hairdryer.

Following the incredible experience, Casey claimed that his upgrade was one of the best days of his life.

And there’s no doubt that his viewers enjoyed taking a peek into the first class lifestyle too.
