IN THE intriguing land of Russia, bears fly. At least, that’s what Khabarovsk Airport wants us to believe.

The airport has been widely mocked over its new logo; because there’s a bear in there. Not just any bear, one that appears to soar gracefully through the sky. Like they all do, right? While bears are iconic in Russia, the logo was seen by many Twitter users as totally bizarre, and at the same time captivating. Seemingly intent on “Putin” the airport to shame, users photoshopped the animal into some ridiculous scenarios, including one showing a bare-chested Russian President Vladimir Putin sitting on the bear’s back and holding on for what appears to be the ride of his life. Others show the bear pole dancing and passing out in a drunken stupor. While the logo took off for all the wrong reasons, at least it got the airport a lot of attention.
