The $1.4 million ultimate drinking holiday
MONACO. Vegas. Dubai. Melbourne. Welcome to the world’s most extravagant drinking holiday, where one shot costs up to $2281!
WOULD you like to go on the world's most exclusive drinking holiday?
The Ultimate Drink Connoisseurs' Holiday will set you back a cool STG750,000 ($1.37 million) per couple. The dream trip, offered by UK travel company Holidaysplease, is described as “a holiday so rare and exclusive due to the drinks involved, it'll never be repeated again.” The tour, which starts and ends in London (although pick-ups are possible elsewhere) includes visits to 10 locations, including Monaco, Las Vegas, Melbourne and Dubai, where guests will sample the most exclusive drinks on the planet. In Las Vegas guests will drink an Ono Cocktail, which contains Remy Martin Louis XVIII Black Pearl, priced at STG1250 ($2281) a shot. Guests will also get to slurp a Jose Cuervo 250 Aniversario Tequila, one of the world's most expensive Tequilas. At Melbourne's The Crown Entertainment Complex the travellers will try a Winston cocktail, which contains a shot of 1858 Croizet cognac worth STG99000 ($180,706) a bottle. In Monaco they'll drink from the Armand De Brignac Dynastie, the world's most expensive champagne collection. Also on the list is a tipple of the $170,000 a bottle, 64-year-old Dalmore Trinitas whisky, and some Penfolds Ampoule red wine, of which only 12 bottles were made. Another of the beverages, a martini, contains a diamond from jeweller Bader & Garrin, rather than an olive and one of the highlights of the trip will be the Legacy cocktail, which includes 1788 Clos de Griffier Vieux Cognac, priced at STG12,400 ($22,633) a shot. Besides drinking, guests will spend a few nights in each location to see the sights. They'll also enjoy tours of Scotland's Dalmore distillery and France's Grey Goose factory in Cognac.
