Man who spent $1500 on a steak tells Mykonos where to go as he leaves island

A pro boxer who paid $1500 for a steak has left Mykonos and told the island where to go in an expletive-ridden rant on social media.

How Instagram is ruining holidays

Ricky Hatton, the former pro boxer who dropped $1500 on a piece of steak while on holiday in Mykonos, is heading home from his “f***ing expensive” Greek trip — and is still fuming after shelling out on the expensive steak.

The retired boxer shared a photo of his restaurant bill after a night out on the notoriously pricey island.

As well as a load of booze, there at the bottom was the “Kobe ribeye” — at a whopping €920 or $A1500.

The 40-year-old decided to salute his trip to the Cyclades in his own special way before boarding a flight back to the UK.

Uploading a picture of himself wearing short shorts with “Mykonos” printed on the back, Hatton is seen with his arms in the air while taking in a stunning beach view.

“Off home today me & the #funpolice @charlie_n_77,” he captioned it.

“We will miss you Mykonos, it’s been emotional (and f***ing expensive).

“You can stick your f***ing steak up your a**e. Xxxx #getupthereboy.”

Hatton joked that he woke up in a “puddle of f****** tears” after realising he spent $A1500 on the piece of meat.

In total, he racked up a food bill worth a whopping $3173 with his girlfriend Charlie at the Nammos Restaurant.

But Hatton saw the funny side of it as he posted a before-and-after picture of himself demolishing his dinner as well as a snap of his huge bill.

Taking to Instagram, the former multiple world champion said: “Just woke up this morning in a puddle of f***ing tears.

“That’s what you get for being a fat greedy little sh*t.”

He later added: “I just ordered it. Didn’t look. Ha ha.

“The bill came and the fun police (how Hatton describes his girlfriend, Charlie) just started laughing. Wow.”

Hatton — who was filmed partying out in Tenerife last week — also ordered a bottle of champagne worth almost $A816 as well as a $A200 bottle of prosecco.
