Inside the luxury bus hotel The Icon - a million-dollar motorhome once owned by Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson Button
ONCE home to F1 stars Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson Button, this million-dollar motorhome is now a seven-star hotel on wheels.
WELCOME to life in the fast lane - Formula One style - in the million-dollar holiday home that comes to you.
Luxury motorhome The Icon, previously home to F1 stars Jenson Button and Jacques Villeneuve, is now being offered as a super-swish seven-star hotel.
It can be delivered anywhere in Europe and comes with a butler and gourmet chef to attend to your needs - and of course, champagne on arrival.
The motorhome was made to order for world champion Villeneuve in the late 1990s. The million-dollar vehicle was later sold to Finnish F1 driver Mika Salo and later Button, before being transformed into a grand hotel on wheels.
The 150sq m luxe-bus, complete with gold fittings, two TVs, ensuite and walk-in robe, sleeps four guests.
Icon Experiences founder Andrew Morris explains when the opportunity to buy the million-dollar came up, his company jumped at the opportunity.
"We decided that a motorhome with such heritage, comfort and luxury should be available to be enjoyed by like minded people looking for the ultimate in hospitality and comfort," a post on the Icon Experiences website says.
So how much does it cost? The Daily Mail reports it comes with a price tag of a cool $15,000 (Pound8000) a night.
