Japan’s famous Love Hotel where you order sexy outfits on room service

This is what it is like to stay inside a hotel where you can order sexy uniforms to your room, which also plays background mood music.

A woman has revealed what it’s like to spend the night in a Love Hotel in Japan.

When Fiona Wang and her boyfriend James spent two weeks travelling around the country, they knew they had to stay in one of the famous Japanese hotels.

Japanese Love Hotels are a type of accommodation in the country where guests are given privacy to allow for intimate activities, reports The Sun.

For Ms Wang and her boyfriend, their curiosity drove them to spend a night in the famous “hook-up” spots – despite not being the target market for such facilities.

In a video Ms Wang posted on Instagram, she showed users how the check-in desk had a frosted screen that protected the privacy of the guests from reception staff.

The 27-year-old lifestyle content creator and co-founder of the Fluid Project was shocked at the amenities the hotel had to offer.

Ms Wang told Sun Online Travel: “They [the Love Hotel] had skincare, hair care, multiple straighteners, face masks and condoms.”

Compared to other types of accommodation in Japan, Ms Wang’s Love Hotel room was spacious too.

She said: “The rooms were also great, there were movies, you could dim lighting, there was karaoke machine and background music of your choice.”

The bed had a control panel where all of these features could be changed with just the touch of a button, and there was a massage chair in the corner too.

Ms Wang added: “But the funniest thing was probably the catalogue where you rent sex outfits.”

Ms Wang’s favourite part of the room was the light up spa bath complete with a TV.

She said: “It was so big, really comfortable and just fun to watch TV while having a bath.”

Despite all the popular quirks, there were some features inside the room that didn’t impress, including the lack of windows.

She added: “It felt a bit stuffy even though we went in winter.

“There is also a lot of stigma around love hotels being filled with illegal cameras.”

After posting a video about her stay, Ms Wang was sent messages by users on Instagram who alleged that cameras were used to film inside the room.

“I have no idea to be honest, but if I go back again I’d like to go on a hunt to see if this theory is true,” she said.

The couple paid $200 AUD for a one-night stay at the hotel.

Because of the price and all of the hotel room’s amenities, Ms Wang said she would go back because it was value-for-money.
