Stayz reveals Australia’s Best Holiday Homes of 2024

Australia’s most “spectacular” holiday homes have been revealed with some offering mind-blowing features that will leave you in awe.

Mount Edgecumbe made the top list and it's giving European vibes.

Stayz has just revealed the best holiday homes in Australia for 2024 and it includes some spectacular properties.

The online booking site is in its 13th year of highlighting some of the most impressive private homes in Australia — and also popular destinations and price points.

The top 10 homes in the Stayz Holiday Homes of the Year list features beach front properties, wine region stays and ski and countryside escapes in destinations including Hamilton Island, Mount Buller, Margaret River and Kangaroo Valley.

“What stands out to me is the variety in this year’s Holiday Homes of the Year – from outdoor baths and saunas to wine cellars and alfresco outdoor dining facilities, at nightly rates ranging from $290 to $2900,” Sarah King, Travel Expert, Stayz said.

Stayz has just revealed the best holiday homes in Australia for 2024 and there’s some spectacular homes on the top 10 list including this Kangaroo Valley property called ‘Robinson’s Run’.

“This list exemplifies the calibre of private holiday homes across Stayz.”

The homes are selected from more than 50,000 properties on Stayz, based on criteria including having a 4.5 or higher star rating, positive guest reviews and standout amenities and spaces.

Across the board, the homes offer six pools, three of which are infinity pools, five firepits, three outdoor spas, one playground and tennis court, alfresco kitchen and pizza oven and of course, a wine cellar.

“Our research shows almost half of travellers book holiday homes with amenities they either cannot afford to have at home, or that they want to try out before they buy themselves,” Ms King added. “Our Holiday Homes of the Year provide this trend for travellers, offering everything from alfresco kitchen, to outdoor saunas, baths and firepits.”

It is a three-storey property nestled on 70 acres adjacent to Morton National Park.
