Police called on woman after offensive rant at Queensland resort
A woman has been kicked out of a holiday resort in Port Douglas after screaming at a staff member.
An Australian woman has been booted from a holiday resort after screaming at staff, who asked her to get out of a pool as she carried around a drink.
A 45-year-old woman began yelling and swearing at the staff member after they requested she hop out of the pool at the Oaks Port Douglas Resort in far north Queensland last week.
As other guests stopped and stared at the woman, she told a female worker “make me get out” before calling her a “c**t”.
“I’m a 45-year-old woman on holiday having a drink. You’re f***ing joking, right?” she yelled.
“You’re making a f***ing scene, not me.”
“Get me out, get me out, I’ll make a f***ing scene.”
Police were called to get the woman out of the pool before she was kicked out of the resort the following day.
During the incident, other guests sitting around the pool at the hotel could be heard laughing as the woman walked around the pool with her drink, yelling “watch this, watch this … make me, make me”.
“I’m on a holiday. I can’t believe you’re making a scene.”
